What’s been happening at JACS? Find out in our quarterly update.

The JACS Engineering and Maintenance Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held at the Cherry Hill lunch room in July.

TOPICS DISCUSSED

The AGM gave us the opportunity to discuss with the team how the year is progressing, the projects that are ongoing and how we can improve our services for client’s in the future.

  • JACS has successfully completed their first job for new client TasWater
  • Staff training – our team are busy getting their tickets in working at heights, confined space and scaffolding.
  • JACS has been engaged by Marine and Civil Maintenance to fabricate components for the west Devonport wharf upgrade.
  • Planning of seasonal maintenance shutdowns for Simplot and Cherry Hill Coolstores have begun.
  • Discussions with a focus on safety and looking out fellow employees, with discussions around the development of a good working culture for our team. We wish for our staff to feel like JACS is more than just a place to go and earn a living, but a place to live and thrive.

After a successful year, we wrap up the 2023-24 financial year with our annual AGM.
